Erin Henslee is an Associate Professor of Engineering and a founding member of Wake Forest’s engineering faculty. Her interdisciplinary research spans biomedical engineering, esports science, and STEM education, with a particular focus on developing tools to better understand red blood cell behavior in diseases such as cancer, malaria and anemia. Erin brings a strong commitment to inclusive STEM teaching and researcher development, informed by her experience supporting doctoral scholars in the U.K. She holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Surrey and is dedicated to fostering collaborative, innovative scholarship across the university.
